about

Ephemeral Structures (Kyle Herskovitz, John C.S. Keston, and Nils Westdal) was recorded live on March 26, 2004 for an intimate audience at Studio 667, Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, Minnesota. The three artists came together for a night of pure experimental and improvisational creativity. The performance also served as a capstone project for Keston's Music Technology and Intermediate Arts undergraduate studies. From beginning to end the music was a single thread of organically evolving, improvisation. This collection of nine excerpts maintains the flow and integrity of the original recordings.
